The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.

2020 was a strange year, and that is an understatement! It was a battle for us all but we dug deep and fought our way through. One of the things that were affected was events and challenges. Whilst this may seem insignificant in the grand scheme of the issues, it took away the focus and sense of achievement which is so important to many of us. However, we keep training as many of those events have been rolled over to 2021…

Many early 2021 challenges I would normally take part in have been cancelled or postponed, such as Lancaster Duathlon and Calder Vale Muddy Shoes run. But it’s been training, training and more training as the summer challenges look set to go ahead.

September – 3 Peaks Pub Crawl

Basically this involves hiking, a bit of running, a lot of cycling and a few pubs! Happy days!:-)

The plan is to climb the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland, cycle the 520 miles or so between them and visit the highest pub in each country, all in just 6 days!
